Elizabeth's journey from practicing law to focusing on consulting work showcases her adaptability and willingness to pursue her true passion.

“I always had focus groups, I'd always done them myself. And they kind of started with a group of us getting together to do it to kind of cut costs," shares Elizabeth Larrick on You Are A Lawyer.

Elizabeth had an early involvement in conducting focus groups and experience in this area even before transitioning from practicing law to consulting. It showcases her expertise and dedication to honing her skills in focus groups, which ultimately led her to establish her consulting business.

Why Law School

Elizabeth Larrick chose to attend law school with a clear understanding of the diverse opportunities a law degree could offer. Elizabeth mentioned that when she decided to pursue law school, there were limited resources available to explore the various career paths available to lawyers. However, she recognized the value of the lawyer's training and brain in different fields beyond traditional legal practice. Elizabeth's decision to attend law school was driven by her realization that the legal training would equip her with a unique perspective and skill set that could be applied in various industries and roles.

“You're going to get in and they're going to tell you like, here's, you know, get you really focused in and tunnel vision on like what lawyers do. But, you know, the world is, you know, every place needs a lawyer," reflects Elizabeth Larrick on Episode 148 of You Are a Lawyer.

This quote underscores the idea that a law degree can lead to diverse career paths beyond the traditional courtroom setting. Elizabeth's experience highlights the endless possibilities for individuals with a law degree to make an impact in various industries and roles.
