Lauren Klein initially pursued a finance degree and interned at Merrill Lynch during the last financial crisis in 2009. However, due to the economic circumstances at the time, she decided to pivot towards law school. Lauren entered law school with an open mind, unsure of her career path, but eventually found her passion for tax law through a business associations class taught by a tax professor. “I was always like, no, thank you. I want to stay at boutique firms and open my own firm one day. And that didn't change, but I got this opportunity that I just could not pass up," shares Lauren Klein on You Are A Lawyer.
